Hawarden and its neighbours
Hawarden is a village of considerable age on the eastern edge of Flintshire, with its castle, its park and Gladstone's Library, sitting between Ewloe, Mancot, Sandycroft and Broughton. The Borderlands railway line runs through it towards Wrexham in one direction and the Wirral in the other.
